Newly founded in 2025, the Business of Sports Student Organization (BOSSO) is The University of Texas at Austin's premier sports business and analytics student organization and the official student organization of the Business of Sports Institute within the McCombs School of Business. Born from a shared passion for sports, data, and innovation, BOSSO brings together driven students from diverse academic backgrounds who are united by a mission to transform the way we understand and influence the world of sports.

BOSSO was established to bridge the gap between raw data and real-world decision-making in the sports industry. By leveraging cutting-edge analytics, statistical modeling, and research methodologies, our members develop strategic insights that drive performance on the field/court/track and value off of it. We aim to make a measurable impact across all areas of the sports business landscape.

Our work does not stop at theory - we aspire to deliver hands-on experiences for our members, working directly with professional teams, collegiate programs, representative agencies, startups, and beyond through consulting projects, education outreach, and collaborative research.
